Dr. Darrell J. Youngman is the founder of the site. He is certified by the American Board of Medical Examiners both in Internal Medicine as well as in Cardiology. He is in active practice of clinical cardiology in Wichita, Kansas. In addition to staff privileges in hospitals throughout the state, he is the Chairman of the Coronary Care Unit at Via Christi- St. Francis Regional Medical Center as well as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita. Dr. Youngman went to undergraduate school at Texas Tech University, medical school at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, served his residency in Internal Medicine at Malcolm Grow USAF Medical Center at Travis AFB, and completed his fellowship in Cardiology at Walter Reed US Army Medical Center. He has a long interest in patient education and computer technology.
